Survey for aviation workers
Over the summer, we worked with trade unions to call for any airline bailouts to be used to support people working in aviation, rather than handouts for airline bosses. Airlines didn’t get the special treatment they wanted, but they did get hundreds of millions of pounds of taxpayer-backed support while they slashed jobs and working conditions. Now it’s past time for airlines to protect their workers and the climate.
We want to find out how the Covid-19 crisis has affected you, how you feel about working in aviation, and what would help you most at this incredibly difficult time. We also want to hear what you think about how the need to cut emissions to protect the climate will affect people working in aviation.
With your help, we can show the government what things are like at the moment for people working on planes or at airports, and what they think about the sector’s future. And we will keep up pressure on the government to support people working in aviation during this crisis, and ensure that as the sector changes due to the climate crisis, workers are prioritised.
The survey has 15 questions and should take less than 10 minutes. Your answers will be anonymous, but you will be given the option to provide your contact details to receive a copy of the results. We will use the information you provide to produce research and campaign for policies that protect people working in aviation and tackle the climate crisis.
