Our approach to anti-oppression
We make time to learn how systems of oppression such as colonialism, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, classism and ableism can lead to discrimination, structural barriers and systemic inequalities. We use this knowledge to improve our internal working practices and ensure we are not furthering oppression in our external work. We aim to mitigate barriers for marginalised groups through a series of actions detailed in our anti-oppression strategy.
We want everyone at Possible and everyone who interacts with Possible to feel seen, valued and included.
We recognise that we are fairly early on this journey and we will continue to learn, grow and make mistakes as we go. We want to be able to reckon with power and privilege at Possible, but also in wider society, and to continue to integrate our learning into the heart of what we do.

Love what we’re doing?
At Possible, our vision is a zero carbon UK, built by and for everyone. We show people and politicians across the country that this is possible, and inspire practical action to make sure we get there at the speed required.
As a registered charity, we rely on donations from people like you.
If you can, please consider donating just £3 a month to support our work.
