4000 more trees for Cheshire

It’s almost Christmas, the season of giving and love, and at Possible we decided to get a head start and give Mother Nature a gift this year. Our team of 50 hardworking volunteers managed to plant over 4000 trees last weekend in an amazing effort to tackle climate change, create homes for wildlife, and give back to the planet this winter.

The trees we planted run along a 850m section of the Cheshire public right of way near Mickle Trafford, forming a corridor across the farm that helps the farmer keep the public away from his livestock, as well as providing a beautiful sheltered walk across the fields. Our planting efforts will now be visible to anyone who chooses to walk the path for years to come!

All the volunteers had a fantastic time and found it to be a very rewarding experience, many of whom were happy to have left a positive mark on the countryside. It’s great to know that they’re keen to share their stories with family and friends at home, work and school, and inspire them to do the same!
