“I’m not sure this was for me after all.”

Stride and Ride isn’t going to be for everyone. Is there anything we can help with to change your mind? Let us know via hello@wearepossible.org. If you wanted to give cycling a go, but found it a struggle, check out the brilliant Bike is Best website - it has tonnes of responses to common worries and questions about cycling.

If you don't want to hear about stride and ride anymore, just write your email in the box below. Don’t worry you'll still hear about all our other great campaigns!

Thank you for showing curiosity and open mindedness to trying something new. Luckily, if you’re still keen on taking action on the climate crisis, that’s our speciality. Why not try some of these for size?:

  1. Climate Perks

Climate Perks is designed for people who love travel and want to take action on climate change.

If that’s you, cutting down on flying will likely be one of the most important things you can do to cut carbon and help build a movement of people doing the same. Climate Perks is a brand new  kitemark scheme, through which employers offer a limited number of paid ‘journey days’ to employees when they swap the plane for the train, bus or boat on their holidays. This means those making low-carbon travel choices don’t lose out on leisure time.

2. Sign up for some tree planting

We’re busy working with farmers across the country to organise tree planting weekends on their land from the autumn through to spring (that’s the best time to get trees in the ground).

Trees not only breathe in carbon and lock it up, they also help protect against climate impacts such as flooding and heatwaves. So planting more of them helps prevent further climate change, as well as adapt to the changes we’re already seeing.

Sign up to be alerted when we’re ready for people to join in and get planting.

3. Start small

There are lots of little changes you can make in your everyday life to help battle climate change. Read our blog post on 10 ways you can take action on climate change without leaving the house to learn more.

4. Keep up to date with our campaigns

We work across five different challenge areas -(transport, energy, what we eat & buy, nature and talking about climate change so there’s bound to be something you’re interested in.
