Hiba Mohamad

Hiba is a Senior Programme Officer in the Asia Climate and Energy team at ClientEarth. She supports efforts to accelerate the transition to a net zero economy and limit the worst impacts of climate change. Hiba has over 5 years' experience supporting humanitarian efforts and health and environment related programmes in Asia. Previously she has worked on health-related initiatives for forest communities in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. Hiba holds a BA in Arabic and Persian from the University of Oxford and a Certificate in International Human Rights Law from the LSE. Her work with climate vulnerable communities in Asia motivates her to support climate action here in the UK.

Hiba is from London and is keen to see her city become carbon neutral by 2030. She is particularly interested in how accessible, affordable, and inclusive public transportation can help cities become carbon neutral, liveable and healthy cities (and happier places too!). In her spare time, she can be found cooking or trying her hand at Persian and Turkish illumination art.
