Sara Telahoun

Sara is a climate change consultant with over 10 years’ experience in sustainability. She currently co-leads the Cities & Regions team at Anthesis to deliver strategic and technical support to local authorities to meet their net zero and climate action goals. She also sits on the advisory board for young women’s charity Catalyse Change, seeking to support young women with skills, mentoring and guidance for careers in sustainability.

She previously sat on Bristol City Council’s Environment Board, collaborating with local stakeholders to accelerate action towards the city’s goals of being a carbon neutral and climate resilient city by 2030. Previously, Sara worked for environmental NGO CDP, where she supported international cities’ climate action progress.

Sara is passionate about mentoring and supporting young people to be the next generation of future sustainability leaders. This aligns with her goal of accelerating a socially just and equitable transition to net zero through her work. In her spare time, she enjoys going to gigs and is an aspiring drummer.
