Public Attitudes to Tackling Aviation’s Climate Change Impacts

Air travel is one of the stickiest problems for climate change campaigners and policy makers alike. 

Unlike many other sectors, there are no existing alternative low-carbon technologies to rapidly decarbonise aviation while delivering the same standard of service and without environmental costs. 

This report commissioned YouGov to survey the UK public on their attitudes to air travel’s climate change impacts and potential policies to tackle these. The results endorsed a Frequent Flyer Levy.
